Grown from
years of
working together
The German-Qatar Institute is an information and networking platform between Germany and Qatar. Its connections have grown over years of educational work.
Who we are
We see ourselves
as a bridge
We make information accessible, create opportunities to meet and support joint projects where they fit.
The German-Qatar Institute grew out of the experience that there is a great deal of interest between Germany and Qatar – but often a lack of overview and personal contact.

The origin
Nine years at
the Studienkolleg
For nine years, the SKHM has supported Qatari scholarship holders of Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on their way to German universities.
This work has grown into long-standing personal and institutional relationships – and regular exchange with the German Embassy in Doha and the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Berlin.
Exchange with the embassies
Documented meetings
The photos document relationships. A formal partnership is only mentioned where one has actually been agreed.
